Having family come to visit and help with the baby is such a double-edged sword. It's a relief to have the assistance, to know there's another set of arms to hold her when you get tired. But then you have to deal with those arms reaching out when you still want to hold her. It's nice to have another person's insight when you hit an obstacle, but then there's an equal amount of unsolicited advice to bear. Being able to take a shower without concern for the baby is a blessing, but with people constantly in the house, I feel like I have to be showered by a "reasonable" hour.
