She crawled!
Well, you know, sort of. She moved ... forward. We were in bed last night, waiting for her to get sleepy again after an accidental late nap, and she was pivoting around and wiggling backwards and doing all her usual tricks. Then she got up on her hands and knees and straightened her legs so that she was practically in a headstand. That apparently wasn't quite was she was planning to do, so she tried again and ended up lurching forward.
The Husband summed it up best: it's exciting and sad. The idea of her being a mobile, communicative being is pretty cool, but it means we get further and further away from this happy little lump stage.
