2004-01-09 - 9:13 a.m. - Cycle day: Update from M's four-month (!) check-up:
Length: 25.5" ... which puts her in the low 90s, percentile-wise. We continued to forego any vaccinations, and were totally supported in that decision by our doctor. (Although his support was partly monetary/practical - apparently small practices are having a lot of trouble getting reimbursed for the shots they buy, so it's easier and less risky for him to just send patients to the health department.) I asked if he knew what M's blood type is, because that seemed like something I should know, but I guess they don't typically run tests to check for that so we still don't know. Since The Husband doesn't know his blood type, either, I've got this emergency room anxiety stuck way down deep in the back of my mind - like we'll all be rushed in from the scene of a car accident or something and there won't be enough O-negative to go around. I guess worrying about things like that makes me an official mother.
